Terms governing use of the Sailbird website and the information published here.

Effective July 12, 2026

Agreement

These terms apply to your use of https://www.sailbird.io (the "Site"), operated by Sailbird Labs ("Sailbird", "we", "us"). By accessing the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site provides general information about our platform engineering services. It does not create a client relationship, project commitment, or service-level obligation unless confirmed in a separate written agreement signed by both parties.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with its operation or security. You agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the Site, its infrastructure, or related systems
  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without our prior written consent
  • Use automated means to scrape or harvest content in a way that places unreasonable load on the Site
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us through the Site

Professional services

Descriptions of services, capabilities, labs, and blog content are provided for general information. Scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for paid work are defined only in a separate statement of work, master services agreement, or equivalent contract.

Nothing on the Site should be interpreted as a guarantee of outcomes, uptime, cost savings, or regulatory compliance for your environment.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, content on the Site, including text, branding, diagrams, and layout, is owned by Sailbird Labs or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and share links to public pages for personal or internal business reference. You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written permission, except where a permissive license is explicitly stated.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk.

Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Technical articles, labs, and diagrams describe patterns and architectures for educational purposes. You are responsible for validating suitability, security, and compliance before applying them in your own systems.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sailbird will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of the Site.

Our total liability for claims relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in British Columbia will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or use of the Site, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
